I. Specific work

1. Sales consulting, drug distribution:

• Welcoming customers warmly.
• Look at the prescription carefully and ask if the customer has a full prescription or just buy some of the drugs on the prescription.
• Consulting and answering customers’ questions related to prescriptions, functional food products, programs of T-Matsuoka Japanese Medical Center (if any).
• Selling, dispensing drugs according to prescriptions or according to customers’ needs, checking drug expiration dates, instructing customers/patients to use drugs.
• Instruct customers to pay (if necessary).
• Thank you Customer.

2. Import – export – inventory management; storage and arrangement of goods

• Receive and check goods against invoices and documents (ensure the origin and quality of drugs before warehousing).
• Arrange and display goods according to regulations on cleaning shelves, sales areas and the entire pharmacy according to the assigned schedule.
• Perform a monthly drug inventory (on the last day of the month) or a surprise inventory when required.
• Ensuring the maintenance of drug storage practices the principle of “Good Storage Practices” (GSP) includes:
• Preserve medicines according to the standards stated on the label.
• Maintain the required temperature and humidity (and have full records at a fixed hour).
• Arrange goods in the pharmacy according to the principle of “first in first out, first out first out.”

II. Coordinate with other departments

Coordinate with clinical pharmacists and clinicians when finding that prescription drugs are not appropriate.

Coordinate with Accounting Department in monthly drug inventory (if necessary)

III. Other jobs

Periodic or ad hoc reporting.

Attend training courses when required.

Perform other tasks assigned by the Clinical Pharmacist
